A Three Peaks journey starts with a choice of landscape. The British challenges link familiar national summits or neighbouring hills, while the international directory opens up volcanic islands, alpine ranges and regional highpoints. Begin with a continent or country to see the places grouped together, then use the geographical map to understand where the named summits sit.

Each itinerary page focuses on its own three places. Country pages give a wider geographical introduction and bring the available selections together; the United States also has a page for every state. This makes it possible to compare the setting and spread of the summits before talking through a journey. Your group’s experience and aims determine what can ultimately be arranged.
