Discover Welsh

The Welsh Three Peaks connect three of Wales’s best-known mountain areas. Yr Wyddfa stands among the lakes and ridges of Eryri; Cadair Idris rises above southern Eryri near Dolgellau; and Pen y Fan looks across the central mountains of Bannau Brycheiniog. This is a journey through the length of Wales, with changing landscapes and Welsh place names giving each stop its own identity.

The three summits are not Wales’s three highest mountains, but their geographic spread makes them a distinctive national challenge. Cadair Idris offers a particularly striking contrast to the northern mountain landscape, while Pen y Fan’s broad surroundings bring another perspective on the Welsh uplands. Enquire about a group itinerary that allows for the travel between these areas and the amount of time you want to spend in each.
