Discover Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
La Soufrière anchors this group on Saint Vincent rather than the smaller Grenadine islands farther south. The selected mountains belong to the main island's rugged interior, with the surrounding maritime archipelago providing a very different geographical setting.
Saint Vincent's mountain spine occupies the main island, while the Grenadines form a separate chain of smaller islands. La Soufrière gives the northern interior a volcanic landmark; Grand Bonhomme and the other uplands belong to the broader mountainous island. The surrounding Caribbean and Atlantic coasts frame this compact but pronounced relief.
