Discover Adamawa
Dimlang and the other selected mountains belong to Nigeria's eastern upland region near Cameroon. This terrain contrasts with the country's broad plains and lower river landscapes, with higher relief concentrated in particular border and plateau areas rather than spread uniformly nationwide.
The Adamawa uplands connect Nigeria's eastern mountain landscape with neighbouring Cameroon. Dimlang gives this group a prominent regional focus, while the country's other major elevated areas are separate: this is not the same landscape as the central plateaus or the lower Niger basin.
