Discover Saint Kitts and Nevis
Nevis Peak lies on a separate island from Mount Liamuiga and Verchilds Mountain. The grouping therefore crosses an important geographical divide at sea, within a Caribbean destination whose two principal islands each have a distinct volcanic interior.
Saint Kitts has an elongated mountain interior, while Nevis is organised around its central volcanic peak. That difference in island shape matters as much as summit elevation. The sea channel between the islands marks a genuine break in the landscape, linking two volcanic settings within the same small Caribbean nation.
